The product

What is it for?

The use of coatings inside containers and, more generally, on all surfaces that come into contact with the parts to be fed, facilitates the advancement of the parts themselves and at the same time reduces noise and wear on the surfaces.

How to choose?

We have various types of coating: from polyurethane rubber with different surface finishes and hardnesses, to spray-applied polyurethane, to fiber or metal brushes.
In relation to the characteristics of the product to be selected and the conditions of use, we will be able to indicate the most appropriate solution.

Technical features

Methods of application

The coatings are applied after appropriate surface shot peening treatment of the affected parts, using AlSI316 microspheres.

This treatment, in addition to perfectly cleaning the surface to be coated, allows to obtain a degree of roughness suitable for gluing.

We then cover both surfaces to be glued (metal + coating) with a layer of bostik; finally, the entire perimeter of the coating is sealed with a two-component adhesive cord applied like a gun. The latter, by vitrifying, ensures a perfect seal of the coating avoiding the triggering of necklines at the edges.

Spray polyurethane:
it is an extremely versatile synthetic polymer, has a non-stick effect, which facilitates the sliding of the pieces, protects against wear, allows the reduction of noise and is indicated for the transport of heavy parts, such as viteria.

Being FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certified, it is also ideal for food and pharmaceutical applications. It is available in multiple colors. In our applications we use the MetaLine 795 version.
