what’s it for?

The vibrating cups are intended to contain the various pieces that are fed in bulk; they are fixed in solidarity to the vibrating ‘motor’ below.

All the various models, from the diameter 160 mm to the diameter 1000 mm, have a spiral track inside, which starts from the bottom and ends at the top.

The orientation of the pieces can be done by different methods and requires high experience, professionalism and ingenuity.

To choose the geometry and material of the most suitable cup, several factors must be taken into account starting from the piece to be oriented.

At Gasco, even just from a drawing or image of the piece, we can determine which cup is the right and perfect one for your machine.

How and why to choose them?

The cylindrical cup makes it possible to have a small diameter at the outset with respect to the vibrating base. It is advantageous for parts with complex geometries or where high productivity is required.

Despite these advantages, it has two critical issues: limited load capacity / autonomy with the possibility of jamming between the coils.

Disadvantages that are resolved by using an automatic loading system (hoppers, vibrating tanks, vertical loaders, etc.). Ideal for minuteria, viteria, delicate pieces and cadences above 100 pcs/minute. Possible special designs with 2 / 3-way tracks or turns with their sub-slopes. Technical features

Material and customization

All our standard cups are Aisi 304 Inox, but can also be made of Aisi 316, manganese steel, or with C75 screwed tracks.

The standard finish is internal and external micro-shot peening, but manual polishing or certified electropolishing is also possible.

There are also various types of internal coatings, both glued and spray-on, with anti-wear, anti-noise, and anti-oil functions.

For the food or medical sector, it is possible to have continuous welding of the tracks with related certification. The cups can be made with dedicated and special dimensions (outer diameter, coil width, pitch).

Adaptations are possible to also be used on vibrating bases of other brands.
