The product

What is it for?

The use of coating within the bowls, and in general, on any contact surface, helps to convey the parts while reducing the level of noise and wear on the surface.

How to choose it?

We have different types of coating: from polyurethane rubber, with different surface finishing and hardness, to sprayed polyurethane, up to fibre or metallic brushes. With regards to the characteristics of the product to select and conditions of use, we will be able to suggest the most suitable solution.

Technical features

 Application methods

Coating is applied after suitable superficial shot-blasting treatment of relevant parts, by means of microspheres in AlSI316.

Such treatment, in addition to a thorough cleaning of the surface, allows the ideal roughness for bonding.

Both the surfaces to be glued (metal + coating) are applied a layer of adhesive; finally, the whole perimeter is sealed by mean of a cordon of two component adhesive applied by means of a gun. This, once vitrified, guarantees the perfect bonding of the coating, without delamination on the edges.

Sprayed polyurethane. An extremely versatile synthetic polymer, with a non-stick effect which facilitates the sliding of the parts, while protecting against wear and reducing noise levels. It is suitable for the conveyance of heavy parts, such as screws. By being FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certified, it is also ideal for
applications within the food and pharmaceutical industry. It can be supplied in different colours. In our applications we use the MetaLine 795 version.
